Vtg 1945-1949 Handmade Floral Velvet Oak Leaves One Stem Artificial Flowers Made In Germany
My parents owned a flower shop in the early 1970's. All the artificial flowers that we have listed are from their past collection.
We know these peaches and leaves were made 1945-1949 because of the fact that on anther set of floral fruit from the same groupings the tag reads: Made in Germany USSR Occupied. We are using that as our reference point. However, this stem of velvet oak leaves do not have tags. Please see the last photo.
I have consulted the expert in our area in reference to the quality and exclusivity of these stems. They are not available today and are of the utmost design, detail and amazing handmade wiring. He remembered that this style stem was used in hat making, communion dresses and of course all kinds of floral arrangements.
